Yesterday evening, our newly formed rugby team comprising Year 12 and 13 students took part in the annual district rugby tournament against local schools.

Our boys played very well, considering they are a new squad and it was their opening games of the season, winning against St Barts 5-0, losing 7-5 to Kennet after a closely fought battle, and a defeat to Park House 12-5.

PE teacher Mr Dunne said: "A huge well done to all the boys, they played well in their first games together and kept their full focus in each game. Player of the tournament was Jack B for keeping up the pressure and for the drive he showed across all the matches. I look forward to seeing the development and progressions from the team as the season progresses."
