This year we took our Year 8 ski trip to the new venue of Courmayeur, Italy. It was the first time in a long time the school had gone here and we were not disappointed.

After the huge sixteen hour coach journey we arrived at our hotel where we unpacked in time to go and collect our ski gear from the mountain. The views were fantastic and breathtaking and we were looking forward to the week ahead.

Upon receiving our ski gear we could not wait for the journey we were about to start.

All students who went on the trip thoroughly enjoyed their time and feedback from the trip was fantastic: “hard”, “challenging”, “fun”, “exciting” and “life changing” were some of the comments made by this well-rounded Year 8 group.

All in all, the trip was a huge success and for some (both staff and students) provided a challenge they never thought they would be able to succeed.

I want to thank all staff who came on the trip and all students who were fantastic; it will be something I hope they all remember for life.
