On Wednesday 12 October 22, the music department ran their first ever music playday. 

Years 7 to 13 Pupils that play an orchestral instrument, were invited to participate in a large ensemble rehearsal. There were over 50 pupils ranging from beginner to advanced level, performing 'Feeling Good’ and 'Mr Bluesky'.  

We very rarely get the opportunity and time to work with larger ensembles in school, and this was a fantastic chance for some of our pupils to participate in a rehearsal with other musicians and make new friends. We also had the added bonus of having some professional musicians from Hogans music accompanying us for the last session, which was fantastic.
