Arguably the best Downs Open to date, with a freshness in the air but the sun still peeking through, it was the perfect day for a good round of golf. This year there was the opportunity for younger or less experienced players to take part in a 9 holes short course, which enabled more students to come and have a go.

Amazing prizes for the winning teams completing 18 holes were donated by MBGolfshop who also hosted us for the day at Donnington Valley Golf Club. Photographed is Mike Lewis who won a golf bag in the 'nearest pin competition'.

We would like to thank Martin Balfour and the whole team at Donnington Valley, together with all of the players for ensuring the day was a real success and valuable funds raised for the PE dept.
