Back to News ListSki Trip 2023
Posted on: 27th AprWell what a week it was ...
It started with a 16 hour journey through France to our hotel in Italy and we never looked back! Hitting the slopes on the first day saw excellent instruction to all of the students, and what was so great to see was the rate of progression all students had from the beginning to the end. Some highlights of the trip included skiing over to France and the border between the two countries, the karaoke night where we all sang, jumped and danced to the tunes on show, ice skating with the polar bears and the tunes on the bus and ski lifts throughout the week. We had great times on the slopes, tough and resilient times falling and picking ourselves up, emotional and painful times putting on the ski boots and dealing with the physicality of the task at hand, but all in all, a life changing experience has by all in which I hope students will remember forever.
From a very proud trip leader and accompanying staff, well done to all students for representing the school and your self with the upmost highest standards! And a huge thank you to Mrs Pankhania, Miss Bermingham, Miss Duthie, Mr Hedges-Jackson and Miss Winfield for their support in allowing this trip to happen. And thank you to Mrs Fisher and Mrs Alexander for their work behind the scenes! Without the tireless work from staff this trip would not have happened.
