Year 10 Geography Trip to Rushall Farm, Bradfield

Posted on: 10th Jun

Over the past two weeks, our Year 10 Georgraphy students have visited Rushall Farm, a centre of excellence for environmental study and organic farm methodology.

As part of the coursework, the students studyied the River Pang and how humans interfere with a rivers channel.

'As well as the organic farm, the students also have access to woodland, a pond, the River Pang and an ancient chalk pit. This enables us to cover diverse topics ranging from food and farming to habitats and river studies with a focus on climate change and our environment, such as carbon footprint, sustainability, and diversification.'

Thank you to the team at Rushall Farm for creating such a sanctuary and an excellent place for countryside education.
