We are delighted to have been shortlisted for a Berkshire Apprenticeship Award in the Most Innovative Education-based Apprenticeship Promotion Initiative Category. The awards ceremony takes place on 22 November 2018 and will be attended by our Teaching School Manager, Mrs Alexander.

The Downs School has a comprehensive and proactive careers department, including but not limited to organising numerous careers events across the school for students,  giving students interaction with local employers, organising work placements and running specialist events for specific industries and careers.
