On Friday, 7th June The Colour Run took over the grounds! An excellent turn out from our students and staff to run the gauntlet around the fields in a 3k course.  

All participants were showered with colour at stations around the field thrown by their teachers and staff of The Downs. 

Earlier in the afternoon we were delighted to be joined by our friends at Compton School who came to have a great time with us. 

"The event was brilliant! we couldn't stop laughing at the fun everyone was having. A real uplifting event for the whole school. We were thrilled that Compton could join us and enjoy a slightly shorter race!"

This Colour Run was to raise funds for the school and we look forward to totalling up the figures soon. We hope more students will join us next summer!
