Sixth Form Primary School Drama Leadership & Enrichment Programme.

Over the past year, Mrs Duthie has worked with different groups of Sixth formers who have been trained to lead workshops and work with primary aged children. The team have thoroughly planned their pupil activities, disucssed teaching skills and tactics and studied the desired outcomes. 

The theme of the drama workshops was using the West-End muscial 'Matilda, which the pupils were excited by. Our Sixth Formers then worked with Year 3, Y4 and Y5 to act out scenes and deliver them to the whole year to rapturous applause! 

Both the pupils and students learnt valuable lessons in leadership and teaching, as well as working as a team, working to a timescale and delivering a polish result. It was a memorable experience for everyone. 

We sincerely thank Compton School for allowing us through the doors, and hope to see them again next year!
