On Saturday a group of Year 12s assisted at the Goring Gap Festival.  The theme of the Marquee on the Jubilee Ground was Space.

Families where invited to create their own satellites from Lego, locate the planets around Goring by completing a to scale treasure hunt.

There were opportunities to build space jigsaws, make space people and planets and lots of colouring.

The wonderful team from The Downs helped the children and families to really enjoy the event, some dressing up as Astronauts, others colouring, many directing the treasure hunt and all being generally brilliant.

Huge thanks to Molly, Sasha, Felicity, Amy, Nick, Kai, Tom, Bell, Ruby Saskia, Jess, Thomas, Henrike, Mrs Cox, Mrs Gosling, Mrs Jarrett and Mr Wilson who all gave up their time on Saturday to make this event a real success.
